Default James Posey agrees to terms with the Celtics...

http://www.bostonherald.com/blogs/celtics/

Celtics = 2008 Champions...

You add a defensive minded wing with championship experience, who can hit the open three at a more than decent clip...

Nothing about there bench can be said...Eddie House, Tony Allen(healthy), James Posey, Brian Scalabrine, Scott Pollard and possibly contirbutions from draft picks in Gabe Pruitt and Big Baby Davis is a more than forminable bench, especailly considering when your team already features a starting that includes Ray Allen, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett.

No reason as to why the should not win the title. Anything else is (barring a catostrophic injury) is a drastic failure.

Good signing for Boston.

Miami is falling apart. This season is going to be ugly for them.

They still need a PG. Celtics fans should be praying that the clippers are brutal, and they can get Sam Cassell.

seems like that "celtics won't be that good and will have trouble attracting adequate bench players" theory is continuing to sink.

That is a GREAT signing. Just talking the other day how much I'd like to add Posey.

Posey's a good role player. Good signing for Boston. Miami will be fine though...but hate to see him go.

What are you talking about?

Posey is quite obviously going to have a significant role during the regular season.

YES!

Boston bites the bullet and moves further into the luxury tax.

This means they won't be hesitant to make trades during the season if necessary even if they slightly up payroll.

Great, there goes our best perimeter defender. What an incredible offseason we've had. We lose Posey, don't sign a point guard, and end up with a half-dead Penny Hardaway. Awesome.

Future HOFer Smush Parker?

Miami will make a trade one way or another this year, IMO.
