Default Al Green or Michael Jackson...

They are my two favorite singers, but I want you all to tell me who you think is better. Enjoy and of course... God Bless you all!!!

Note: they both came out in the 1960's so that should end comparison problems...but who the better singer, nontheless.

Michael Jackson is one of my top 3 favorite artist, with that said, Al Green.

Mike remade his classic Here I Am, (Come and Take Me) in 1973.

I like Al's voice and general sound a lot more, but MJ put out better songs and albums, at least until the 90's. Al Green actually put out a decent new album a few years ago, I forget the title, but it had a tan and orange cover.

MJ was way more popular and reached a much wider audience, but Al Green's depth takes the cake for me.

Al Green. I don't think much much of Michael's vocal performances are as strong as Mr. Green's "Let's Stay Together". I'd take Marvin Gaye over both of them though.
