Its official. Trenton Hassell is a Mav. The Mavs traded Greg Buckner for Trenton Hassell.

Mavs definelty got the better of this trade... Mavs picked up Buckner for defence but he hasn't done anything... so why not trade him for a younger player who might be inconsistent but could turn out to be a wild card...

i think too, that's not a bad trade for the mavs. Buckner was really disappointing last season, so it's great to get now Hassell for him.

i am shocked they were able to trade Buck straight up for anyone.

hopefully Hassel will fit a bit more like Adrian Griffin did a couple seasons ago.

he's 6'5". 230 lbs. Been in the L 6 years. Last season in about 30 mpg, about 7 pts, 3 boards, and 3 assists. oh and last season a beautiful 6-25 from down town.

I was reading from anothe site how Hassell could have a chance at starting at the SG spot instead of having Devin Harris and The Jet small backcourt.

I feel what you are saying on not being a good three point shooter but the Mavs got Dirk, J-Terry, Josh Howard, and Jerry Stackhouse to hit 3pts. D-Wade can't shoot threes but he's still effective, but I know Hassell isn't D-Wade but he can shoot from the mid-range J and defend and he has size and anyone who was watching the playoffs saw how B-Diddy had his way with J-Terry.
