Default Zach Randolph Is The Least Appreciated Player In The National Basketball Association.

Zach Randolph is a very good basketball player. One could argue that his numbers could have netted him an All-Star spot. He's a very good basketball player yet no one seems to give him credit. Despite his weight issue which a lot of people love to pick on, he netted twenty-three points and ten rebounds.

Why do a lot of people discredit Zach Randolph when Kevin Garnett averaged twenty-two points and twelve rebounds??? Why does Kevin Garnett get a free pass and Zach Randolph doesn't??? Hmmm.

Furthermore, since they post similar statistics, do you think Kevin Garnett's $23,750,000 salary shows that he's better than Zach Randolph who makes $13,488,377??? That's $10,000,000 less.

If you're being paid ten million dollars more than a person who's posting similar numbers to you, shouldn't you be expected to do more??? If one doesn't do more, how does that one person get a pass and the other person who makes ten million dollars less doesn't get a pass and gets paid less yet receives more criticism??? It doesn't make sense.

To give a quick answer, KG's D and passing put him ahead of Randolph.
Stats ain't all BTW.

The difference is Garnett has actually done something. KG has 1 good team and 1 conference finals appearance and missed out a chance at the Finals from an injury. Plus, he took a bunch of trash teams to the playoffs in the West and I don't think Randolph has done even that.

Furthermore Garnett plays defense.

Who said KG was injured? It was Cassell in the Lakers series.

Yeah, he missed quite a few games last year due to a groin pull from a really nasty lap dance.

Then again, we're talking about a 25 year old man whose favourite activity is video games and favourite movie is Scarface. I got very little respect for him as a player and as a person.

Randolph is selfish, lazy, can't run the court, and plays no defense. Trust me, I watched him closely for years as a Blazer fan.

he is a huge defensive liability. he is slow and cannot guard any decent big. He shoots too much and is a very below avg passer. His stats are deceiving and shadows how much he hurts them on D. KG is a much better defender and has a much higher bball IQ. Zach is a well rounded offensive talent but its his overall game that has him not discussed with the best in the league

Well, he'll be the third arm of an inconsequential statistical monster in new york.

Randolph? Eh...

He's like a really talented version of Kelvin Cato.

Cato was a great defender. He used to rock next to yao.
