Although a bit less severe than his last, amare will undergo arthroscopic knee surgery to remove a loose body in his knee. He's expected to make a full recovery in 2 to 3 weeks.

If those are his main competitors then I don't think it's that big a disgrace.
Back on topic, I hope his knee is fine after this process, he was finally starting to look back to normal last year. As always, I still think the Suns can win this year. I hope Marion can keep his ego in check until then. This is the best squad the Suns have had since Barkley and it's the bes they will have for the next 10 years at the very least and it'd be a pity to screw it up and rob Nash of his championship dreams.
I wonder why he didn't do this a month ago instead of waiting until now. He should be ready to go by the time the season starts but I would feel much better if the procedure was done a month or two ago.
He should still be able to come back and kick some ass.
Nah, that's what they want you to think. Fans will never understand the impact a microfracture has on a player's actual game. If the player comes out and says that it affects him, the media/fans will blast him, and tell him to quit whining, when in reality, the only reason he isn't as good as he used to be is because he has lost a step.
You don't see McGrady making any excuses, but we all know a 100% healthy T-Mac will easily make the WCF.
Its arthroscopic not micro you idiot read the article would ya? Before you start spreading propaganda around here.
Whatever it is. It will screw him up in the long run. Because of his initial microfracture, he will never become the 28/10 MVP candidate he could have been.
Because of this, he will most likely max out as a top 4-5 center in the league, rather than land in the Robinson/Ewing range of all-time.
He's already currently the best center in the game, so where your coming up with this maxed out at 4-5 crap i have no idea. This will not affect amare at all! its routine calm down.

Once you undergo microfracture you never have to go through it again. Ever.
And its in the opposite knee of his microfracture knee you idiot. get your facts staright here
After the arthroscopic surgery, he is worse than Yao and Dwight for sure.
Maybe you dont understand... Arthroscopic surgery does not affect your abilties at all. Its a very routine procedure that you heal quickly from. Amare will be ready for the season opener in his peak. You need to understand ARTHROSCOPIC SURGERY does not affect your gameplay ok? got it?
It's pretty obvious that you haven't studied sports medicine one bit. Never mind, kid. Arthroscopic surgery has no effect on your gameplay?
Yes it doesnt. Its routine they are going in there to clean his knee up not to perform major surgery, Just saw your little tag line so im done wasting my time.
