Rookie free-agent center Joel Anthony, with his 9-6 wingspan, stood as a one-man zone beneath the defensive rim, drawing grins from both Riley and Arison.
Every year guys get drafted for their size only, but Anthony played at a nice college, showed mobility and has very nice defensive instincts. No to mention the wingspan.
I think Anhony and Chase (has been lighting up pratice) will make the roster. Along with the signing of Smush and specially Alexander Johnson, did Miami eally do so bad during the of season?
A 9'6" wingspan's impossible, particularly for a 6'9" player. Remember, Durant, who's the same height, blew everyone away with his 7'4" wingspan. A 9'6" standing reach is possible, but that would still be insane for a player of Anthony's size.

Yeah I was going to say a 9"6 wingspan is impossible also, has to be a 9"6 reach which would mean he's around a 7"6 wingspan.
is there a sheet with the winspans of the nba players somewhere? durant is 7'4??
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's what his wingspan measured in at the combine(might've been 7'5") With a google search you could probably find all the results.
