Default Looks Like We got Our BackUup Center

What you guys think of Sean Marks?

Amare/Marks
Kurt Thomas/Diaw
Marion/Jones
Bell/Barbosa/Piatowski...think I spelled it wrong
Nash/Banks

Not that bad. If Amare plays well, we can do good things.

If this is it, I guess we'll go another year without any shot blocking and interior defense. But yeah, I'll still take this lineup all the way to the finals...

Default diaw will start over thomas tho

who knows anything about sean marks? i dont know much but if he spent a couple years behind duncan and has two rings with him hopefully hes gotta be worth something, and by the way im telling everybody d'antoni will wanna open each game blazing so he'll start diaw/amare/marion and kurt will come off the bench because of his age and slowness

I've seen a bit of Marks, being that I'm from New Zealand. He did well in international competitions but was often injured & retired from NZ rep ball too early. he obviously got no pt in SA but guarding Duncan in practice for two years surely would help your D. Hes a good shooter but average everything else imho, so not too much to get your hopes up with, but he should do well in phx.

i would prefer...
Diaw/Thomas
STAT/Marks
Marion/Jones
Barbosa/Bell/Piatkowski
Nash/Banks

Piatkowski is SG-SF... Diaw should start... Marion + STAT + Diaw =

Marks will be bench warmer/garbage time player.

I don't like this pickup...

And we get killed inside....

Look. I loved Diaw playing Center. But we did that because we HAD to. With KT healthy, we should play him at C. Unless yall want Odum scoring at will inside again. Because, as much as Amare will help us, we NEED someone inside that actually has SIZE and can INTIMIDATE players.

STAT is actually bigger than K.T... KT is 6'10 - 6'11 but Amare is way stronger...

maybe on the defence...
C-Amare
PF/SF-Diaw/Marion

and on the offense...
C-Diaw
PF-Stat
SF-Marion

Diaw is real good on offence and STAT is big... i like this formation...

yeah... neither do i... i would rather they pick up Keith Van horn at a slightly higher cost... Marks can only shoot mid-ranges in my opinion... and do not deserve to be 1st back-up PF...

Umm, Sean Marks is the right guy for the job. But, I don't see him worthy to back up Amare. I mean I don't know if I wanna see him coming off the bench for Amare..ughh? I don't know...

Who else were they going to get for the league min? That is what they signed him correct?

It's not that bad of a signing. He can't be any worse than Brian Grant was last season.

Thats exactly it, with out doubt there are better C/PF options out there but not for 900k vets minimum. So you can gripe about it all you like, but the suns don't have the spare cash to get anyone else as they used there 5m exemption on banks.
