Now that our off-season moves are shaping up what do you guys think of our team now? Who else is available that we are able to sign or trade for? I know Dawson said he is still looking for a trade.
I really like what we have done this off season. It has given us a lot of flexibility and the ability to bang with all different kinds of teams...I think the most important thing we need right now is depth at the C position.

Yeah I'm sure Steve Novak will be the answer to Amare Stoudamire, yes he will!:rollingeyes: Shane Battier isn't a 4 he's a 3, and unless you expect Tracy to guard people like 5 inches taller than him then good luck with that lineup. Steve Novak starting at C is a joke. At PF maybe but not C. Luther Head should start so you can increase his trade value.
Battier, by all indications, is going to play PF. We dont need depth at the center position, we already have the best center in the NBA and perhaps the entire world.

i think that we should sign and trade david wesley for damon jones because wesley is going to be 36 years old at the begining of the season
Cleveland doesnt want an old veteran PG. Its reality, their looking for young guards, but Damon Jones was too much for them so hes on the block. If they think about trading with the Rockets theyll probably say Luther Head because hes a streaky player. They want that type of player in their roster. You guys like the trade?

Uhhh, I thought Wesley already signed with the Cavs....yes, I believe so.
They havn't signed him, yet. Assuming they sign all of thier picks, they'll have 16 players under contract, and I'm fairly certain the Cav's have all 15 roster spots filled right now. They'll have to make a trade or waive some one before they can sign Wesley, if that's what they choose to do.
maybe we didnt get ben wallace, or peja, or anyone of that level, but i think the rockets have done good this offseason. we got younger, perimter shooters, role players. and everyone that has been signed this summer i can see working well with tmac and yao. i feel van gundy will let loose a little more this year. we did get Snyder, the last person i wouldve thougth would be on this team with Van Gundy as the coach. maybe he'll let tmac be more "tmac" bc he knows the role playes he has now can also step up.
