Who is better, Channing Frye or LaMarcus Aldridge?

Probably Aldridge, though Frye looked pretty good as a rookie. Not so great last season

Aldridge. Its not even a question in my mind. Now that they are on the same team, it is even easier to compare the two. Aldridge has been amazing in preseason and Frye has been.... subpar. Don't get me wrong, I like Frye, but if he was on Aldridge's level, the Knicks wouldn't have given him up.

I agree. Aldridge is rising every day to become a star, but Frye is good too. I'm glad he's on our team. I just hope he likes playing behind Aldridge. If he has a good attitude about that, then that would be great!

You have to remember, Aldridge didn't play much last year and didn't have the time to show how good he really is. I believe this year, he will really show the NBA why he was a top pick last year.

Aldridge has longer range to his shot but besides that and Aldridge's good defense then I would consider them the same player

I actually think of Frye as more perimeter oriented than Aldridge.

I think Aldridge will be a much better player in 5 years from now... I would say that he is probably better now!

Frye will develop into a solid backup, which is likely all he will be when Oden gets healthy!

Aldridge is so good right now, he's a lot better than Frye. I could see Portland trading Frye for a decent player sometime soon.

I think Aldridge has an advantage on Frye since he's been in the system longer.

Not necessarily. The Blazers just remodeled their system. It was built around Randolph and was a half court system. Now its a running system. Plus, Frye should have more NBA experience and I think he may have played longer in college as well.

So basically I believe Aldridge is flat out better and not because of any excuses.

Yeah, I agree with everyone. Alridge is a much better player than Frye.

I think Aldridge. Why? becuase he starts, plays hard, makes shots, more playing time and more points its as simple as that. Channing is a good player in all. no disrespect but he's apart of that 2nd unit and is more of a bigger body to fill in for pryzbilla.
