Default J-Will has successful knee surgery

Hopefully he's ready by training camp. That tendonitis really was a problem during the stretch early on in the season.

Williams Undergoes Successful Surgery, Begins Rehabilitation

MIAMI, July 31 – The Miami HEAT announced today that guard Jason Williams underwent successful surgery to repair a partial tear of his right patella tendon which caused him to miss 18 games this past season. The 60-minute surgery was performed by HEAT team physician Dr. Harlan Selesnick on July 21 at Baptist Doctors’ Hospital. After being examined today by Dr. Selesnick, Williams has been cleared to begin the rehabilitation process. There is currently no timetable for his return to the court.
In his first season as a member of the HEAT, Williams started 56 of the 59 games in which he appeared and averaged 12.3 points, 4.9 assists, 2.4 rebounds, 0.90 steals and 31.8 minutes while shooting a career-high 44.2 percent from the floor, a career-best 37.2 percent from three-point range and a career-high 86.7 percent from the foul line. His 12.3 scoring average was his highest since averaging a career-high 14.8 points during the 2001-02 season with the Memphis Grizzlies. Additionally, Williams started each of Miami’s 23 postseason contests this year and averaged 9.3 points, 3.9 assists, 2.0 rebounds and 29.8 minutes while helping lead the HEAT to their first NBA championship.

Damn I hope he all right , it seems these injuries tend to linger and that isn't a good thing. Right now we have Payton, Williams and well no one ...I don't know if they can hold up a full year.
