I think I made up my mind. I'll go with the Premium. I was thinking of just getting a cheaper Arcade version, but I would like some more space for memory, especially for when I want to get DLC, and the gold membership pass for the price of a can of soda a week. Can't get mad at that.
The Elite is out of the question. I don't even play that many video games to the point where I would need an Elite in order to hold all the saved data without deleting any data. The only games I'll probably play in the next year anyway are GH2/3, CoD4, an NBA Game, and GTA4. Even if I play the sh*t out of those games, AND get all of the DLC for each game, I'm sure I'll have plenty of space in the hard drive for more games worth of saving and DLC.
IMO, the Elite is for the hardcore gamers that have 20-30 360 games on their shelves.
Most likely I'm getting a premium, but is there any difference between the 3 versions when it comes to failure rate/rrod?
i had the lighter colored 'premium' 360 and went thru 3 of them, my bro went thru 2 and my other bro went thru 2 all due to the RROD, so we all paid the difference and got the Elite 360 and have had no issues.
*by the way we all live in different locations, if that makes a difference? i'd vote for the Elite*
