If Memphis' Damon Stoudamire reaches a buyout agreement with Memphis, it seems likely the Suns would be interested in him. It would not be costly. He likely would sign with a contender for a pro-rated veteran's minimum. Stoudamire, 34, could give Phoenix a good open-court point guard who shoots well and is a vocal, veteran leader. He is also an ex-Portland teammate of Suns GM Steve Kerr, and both played at Arizona. per www.si.com
how good of an idea would this be for the Suns? any thoughts? personally i think it would be a great idea, he is a solid PG and better then Banks. plus he would be a fan favorite he played college in Arizona, but honestly that would be a great back up idea to help when Nash is out of the game getting rest. only thing is he will not help on rebounding, but lets cure one problem at a time right?
