Lakers/Bucks fans: Would you approve of this trade?
Lakers get:
Charlie Villanueva
Desmond Mason
Dan Gadzuric
Bucks get:
Lamar Odom
Why Bucks do it:
- Yi can play w/o CV being unhappy
- Lamar wuld be happy just rebounding and passing to shooters
- Gadzuric's contract is awful
- Simmons does the same things Mason does but slightly better
Why Lakers do it:
- CV can shoot and would thrive in the triangle
- LO just hasn't worked out
- Mason would instantly be the best SF on the team
- Gadzuric is another big body
Re: Lakers/Bucks fans: Would you approve of this trade?
cant see the Lakers doing it. No real star value in return, only project stars. For as much as the Laker fans cry about Odom, hes worth alot more than that to them.
Re: Lakers/Bucks fans: Would you approve of this trade?
The reason I dont think the Lakers would do it is because they've been so successful this year I cant see them trying to tinker with something they dont consider broken.

Lakers fans are the most delusional, unrealistic, schizophrenic bunch on this board. Everything has an agenda. Bynum is being compared to everyone from Kareem to Shaq nowadays, while he was universally slagged this summer. Odom goes from being worthless to Scottie Pippenesque 3-4 times a season, depending on how well the Lakers are doing.
Not that it matters. What matters is that if Odom is so universally disliked for being such a bad player, then why do the Lakers fans expect to get quality players for him?
Same goes for Kwame. His massive expiring contract is always lauded to heavens in trade suggestions, so why the f*ck don't the Lakers keep him then? I mean, if it's so great to have 10 million a year come off your books, why wouldn't the Lakers want that?

Thoughts?
I like this trade. Charlie V is a baller, and a good shooter. Mason is solid and Gadz is a bruin, it will be good for him to end his career in the city it all started. Depends though if Gadz contract expires at the end of this year, if not I think we might get a better deal elsewhere.

We do want the expiring contract but alot of other teams do aswell. We'll keep him, but he's always a good chip to throw around in trade talks.
But Kwame Brown, don't read this, I still support you!!
