What does everyone think of Blatche. I'm a Bucks fan..have heard of him a bit. It seems he has a lot of potential to really be a player one day. He seems to put up good numbers when given the playing time.
Andray Blatche is another one of those young promising players. I am glad that he had recovered and is ready go. I think he did pretty well in the Summer League and will be on the team. I think he can crack the rotation.
He will play behind Arenas, Butler, Jamison, Haywood, Songaila, Stevenson, Daniels, Thomas and Hayes most likely, so he probobly won't get much playing time. It does seem like he will be a good player in the future though.
With all the minutes Jeffries got I'm sure Blatche can sneak in a dozen. He's improved a lot. He can hit an open jumper and is a furious defensive player. Very tough. Good off the dribble, can blow by most any PF/C can can still defend most of them on the other end. Handles are incredible for his size. He's raw as hell but so was Jeffries and he started. I'm sure with all the positions he can play legitimately that he can sneak 10-12 mpg. He's really mistake prone but can he really be worse than Jeffries was?
he's got the size to be a good rebounder but needs to get stronger
hmm...he's kind of like a poor mans Garnett. is more perimeter orientated, but could probably get 7-9 boards per game in starting minutes (30-36/g)
He's looking pretty solid so far. He's really raw, but he's got an NBA body, and he can bang with the big boys. He seems like a hustle guy as well, something the Wiz could definately use. I don't know about starting, but he could certainly help the team off the bench.
Well I haven't actually seen any games, but from reading about him and from his statlines, he seems to have a decent all around game, and he's getting a lot of blocks and steals. He had 8 points, 7 boards, 5 assists, 4 steals, and 2 blocks against Cleveland. He didn't shoot the ball well, but those are decent stats. Have you been watching the games, and if you hvae, how has he looked in person?
