my MELO and banks for Jamison and conley jr.
and
my Tmac and mccants for Joe johnson and al horford
since bibby got traded i think hell get more open looks
what do you guys think?
I do both those trades...Melo is a great scorer and has been pretty good on the boards this year...but Jamison gives almost as many points with more boards and waaay more three's ..I say do it
Second trade is also good ...TMac's injury situtation has limited his play and Mccants is just a throw in player...
the second trade I would do for sure...but about hte first one, I've heard a lot of talk that banks will be starting SG after the break? maybe you can wait on it a few days and see how that develops?
I love Melo for Jamison straight up. I still think you'll win in getting Conley over Banks, but if you're hesitant then dont do it. But I'd rather have Conley the rest of the way than Banks, because I know where Conley's position in the starting lineup stands. I see Banks' position similar to a guy like Lou Williams, in that he needs an injury or trade to open up some serious mins and stats for him.
I also like the second deal, but not because JJ is any better than TMac, because Horford is a major upgrade over McCants, and with Horford having a nice second half of the season, he fills your other C position that Bynum vacated. I personally think TMac is going to have a great second half, but the second part of the deal makes it too good to pass up on IMO.
I like the second trade but not the first...Melo has more upside, with Jamison's stats a little inflated with Arenas out thru the first half of the year...
