Default in the wake of Jeffries

Now that the Knicks signed Jeffries, look for them to make some more moves because they have WAY too many contracts. They have to move QRich now. In order to facilitate some trades, they may have to include their very desirable expiring contracts (JRose, MTaylor) and/or a quality young player.

I don't think they have anyone the Lakers would want (and the Lakers don't want to go over the salary cap).

Default suprised

i'm surprised at the jeffries move. it puts more pressure on them to dump salary more now than later. i think i would have passed on jeffries right now. they really need to wait til around the deadline to make significant moves and reduce that cap a little

Knicks gotta dump contracts. They're paying QRich $7m+ to sit at the end of the bench. I wouldn't mind having QRich coming off the bench behind both VladRad and Kobe.

I dont think hes worth the cash...7-8M to play off the bench?...not to mention his contract has 3-4 more yrs left...had the lakers not picked up radmon...i think he would fit well with the lakers...but i think a player making that amount of dough needs to start..

They are probably planning on dumping other contracts sooner or later...plus they wanted a guy who is defensive minded becasue about 3/4 of their team are shoot first players...jeffries is a solid player and hes young...i think its the best thing isaiah has done in a while...add a player who can actually help them defensivly

I do know that Phil Jackson really likes Jalen Rose. He isnt exactly about to retire either. and when his contract expires then MORE MONEY

Cuz hes another expiring contract player that DOESNT DEMAND THE BALL.

I think If Isaiah was smart he would make the trade.
