Default Should Jamal start over Francis?

Who would you start? Jamal or Francis?

Definitely start Crawford over Francis, I think Marbury and Crawford have better chemistry on the floor. All I can see is Marbury and Francis battling for leadership on the floor. Not in words but in their play. They play too much alike.

I couldn't agree more. You would think Jamal would get rewarded for trying to fit in with the team last year and hitting clutch shots.

Francis, after paying that big of a salary you should start him and give him some decent minutes.

I like Jamal so much better than Francis but we can't waive the guy. This in not the NFL we still have to pay him for about three more years. This is the reason why u have to start him so we can trade him. His trade value will be nothing if he can't start for the Knicks. We can't forget this is a former all star starter. We just have to wait the first couple of months to see how the chemistry is with Francis and the rest of the team. Who knows, maybe this Francis/Marbury backcourt can work under Zeke. Lets just give it a chance. I am so anxious for training camp to begin.

Good points. Isiah has his hands full. But Jalen has a big contract too. So does that mean Isiah has to give him playing time at the sf position also?

Crawford was good as a sixth man last year. If you start Marbury and Francis you can work out who's playing better and bench the other one. If Marbury comes out flat and isn't getting any better then bench him, move Francis to the point and finish with crawford.

Excellent points. I think Francis should earn his spot. The funny thing is I don't think Nate will get that much playing time with a Marbury, Francis, and Jamal

Jalen Rose doesn't have to get minutes this year because he is in the final year of his contract. I am content with just letting his contract come off the books after the season. If he starts crying about playing u can waive him because he is in the last year of his contract anyway. Francis still has about three years left on his deal.

Mark my words if nate robinson is getting alot of playing time this upcoming season rest assured that the kinicks will not have a good year and isiah wll be fires. I am not a big nate robinson fan and i really dont understand isiah's love affair with him.

I think Crawford will get 20-25 minutes easily. His balue wont decrease. Everybody knows how good he is. Francis value should be higher, so he should be started because hes younger and is kind of like a car. If its old theres a chance it might break down (get injured). If its kind of new it CAN breakdown but theres not much of a chance of that happening. Crawford will play the rest of his career here and retire with the Knicks.
