the funny part is they came out at halftime with the regular shorts...I can hear them now in the locker room saying "**** this we look like girls"

Wouldn't have looked as ridiculous if they had smaller jerseys. The big tops and small bottoms just looks off.

Maybe both teams should do it in one of the games. Especially game 7 if it gets that far. It'd be bringing back the retro, and the shades of the rivalry...

i was at that game. the celtics were supposed to do the same thing, but they took themselves too seriously and didnt do it.

What Lakers fan have "refused" to discuss this game?

They wore the shorts and I give them respect for having the courage to do it.

Showing some love for those before them that didn't have the luxury of changing at halftime.

That was the uniform that they played 48 minutes in. Not a really big deal that the current Lakers showed some respect and love to the greats from the past.

They lost the game so what else is there to discuss?

The problem to me was that they had full sized tops with small bottoms. If the jerseys were proportionate, it wouldn't have looked so bad.
