Still play it on genesis. The following versions had more teams and a wider variety of circus dunks, but I enjoy this one the best.
I like this too — should be properly titled Pistons vs. Blazers
(it even says on the back of the box "can the Pistons take the Blazers again?"
This is the best EA basketball game they did… the other Bulls vs. games and NBA Showdown 94 all played horribly slow for a Genesis game even. Heck NBA Showdown played better on SNES even though it was choppy.
AND my personal favorite…
Tecmo NBA was a nice blend of simulation, and arcade style game play. It even tracked stats. My team was the Kings. Tisdale led the league in scoring and FG% and Jim Les and Pete Chilcutt led in 3 pointers
Those guys would NEVER miss!
