We don't really need another Power Foward ..... what we really need is a guy who and create off the dibble with a scoring mind ...... we should of traded T.J and 17th Pick for a GOOD Small forward and then drafted and traded for a DECENT Center ..... now we are stuck with a dude who hasn't really played in the past couple of years, ONEIL gets hurt because his leg is BAD .... TJ got hurt because someone HURT HIM during the season so its not really the same ..... in the end IF WE DON'T MAKE IT PAST THE 1st and 2nd ROUND BIG BIG BIG WASTE!
O'neal could play the Centre position...
and plus off-season isnt even doen yet.. you dont wont know that Colangelo get another player (small fordward)

I'm not sure drafting a big man (who usually take years to develop) will keep CB4 happy enough to stick around...
I figure we traded a redundancy for a need, so no complaints from me.

It's a big mistake that you spell his name wrong...
j/k
i am sure BC weighted the options and there were no decent SF available (with rebounding, blocking, defensive and some offense), and willing take on TJ Ford
They filled a huge need, got rid of a redundant, high priced, long term injury risk...and worst case scenario they will have 20+ million dollar expirer to shop around before the summer 2010 (when several team will be desperate for cap space). Great move, with minimal downside, and huge potential benefit.

100% agree. JO is also said to be healthy and could have played later last season if Indy wasn't out of the playoff picture. He has had little to play for, and in the NBA, that's a reality. In TO, he will and he has a contract to play for which should help his motivation and health. Also, he will play C, he's not a PF. He's a PF/C like Duncan is.
If he plays well, we consider re-signing him after 2 years. If not, he is dealt next year or falls off the books and gives us mega cap room in a loaded offseason.
YOU two guys up there are DUMB .... if it doesn't work out then we have lot of Cap room in 2 years? WE HAD T.J FOR FOR TRADE, THIS MAN IS VALUABLE FOR TRADE! Should not of wasted him for Trade .... but agian if Oneil works out then all good .... if he doesnt then STUPID MOVE!

Says the guy who thought Boozer and Ronnie Brewer for Tj or Jose and Bargs might work.
