Me too...now I'm glad we didn't have that pick. Hibbert will be a bust and out of the league in a few years. He's not athletic and has lead feet. The only thing he's gonna be good at it going on posters. The Worst pick they could have made considering what was left on the board. Now I'm happy...b/c this pick meant nothing in this trade. It had no value cause of who they picked...so this deal in essence is TJ for JO when it comes down to it with a bunch of filler. Good job BC...now just find us a swingman or 2 guard.

I don't mind Hibbert. He's huge, very skilled, and has great character. He'll be solid backup/rotation guy for years. In a half court offense, with PG that knows how to feed the post, and defensive PF that can help him on D, he could be very productive.

He just looks like he's in slow motion all the time and that was on the college floor. I think this game is going to be way too fast for him. He'll be at best a situational player....there are very few teams that I can think of, that are half court teams...but very few...and INDY is definitely not one of them...with TJ, Granger and Dunleavy. It remains to be seen what he can do.

Hibbert at best is like a combination of Erick Dampier and Big Z (minus the jumper) and thats not saying much. No way would I take him over JO even at this stage in his career.

Agreed. I suspect he will wind up being a very solid backup center, that can be very effective in short bursts against bad matchups. Usefull, but in limited fashion.
