Default Where does T.J rank?

When looking at the most valuble PG's in the league where do you put T.J, I'm basing my top ten on not only stats but leadership, durability and potential.

1)Nash
2)Arenas
3)Billups
4)Paul
5)Johnson
6)Hinrich
7)Parker
8)Ridnour
9)Ford
10)Kidd

Couldn't leave kidd off the list but it was tough leaving off Baron Davis, Felton and Gordon.

Just my opinion and looking forward to seeing ur own rankings.

hard to tell how much the way we play will help him out.

he could look like a top 5 pg if he's able to run a lot and get easy assists.

To me Joe Johnson is a SG, he just was made to play PG in Atlanta. I think Ford is slightly better than Ridnour right now.

Nash
Arenas
Billups
Paul
Parker
Hinrich
Kidd
Ford
Ridnour

If Ford has a breakout season this year, he will better than Hinrich as a PG. As much as I like Kidd, his career doesnt have many years left.

When you say Johnson, do you mean Joe Johnson or Anthony Johnson?

And ya, I think Ford can EASILY leap frog up a few spots with a good season this year, especially if he stays healthy.

I like your list but ur 4 getting jason terry he proved last yr he's a top 10 pg. Also where's allen iverson he played pg there if u put hinrich and ridnour there allen def belongs there. What about cassel? Cassel easily is top top. Your puting in to many young guys ur 4geting the older pgs such andre miller and if stephon and baron was healthy they would be there. If your gonna put in young pgs u got to add jameer nelson.

Nash
Billups
Iverson
Arenas
Parker
Paul
Cassel
Kidd
Hinrich
Terry\Ford

Jameer Nelson.

TJ hasn't proven anything yet. I hope he plays well but he is not top 10.

T.J is better than Deron Williams respectively

T.J Ford - PPG- 12.2 RPG- 4.3 APG- 6.6
Deron Williams- PPG-10.8 - RPG- 2.5 APG 4.5

I think Felton and T.J are at the same level as a PG, with both projected to have great seasons this year.

T.J came up with those numbers coming off a scary injury. I think Nelson isnt much better than T.J, he is a good scorer though.

my list

Steve Nash
Jason Kidd
Allen Iverson
Chauncy Billups
Jason Terry
Gilbert Arenas
Tony Parker
Brevin Knight (getting kinda old, but assist to turnover ratio is one of the best)
Sam Cassell
Chris Paul

IMO a good point guard distributes, plays good D, and scores when hes needed to. Jet and Tpark are up there cuz Jet is just too accurate and Tpark has a top 5 FG ranking

TJ Ford still needs to be more consistent.. one day its a triple double nxt day its 2 pnts, 1 reb, 2 ass.

Dude, I hope that was a joke list....

And about Terry, hes playing in a very good system for his talents with ALOT of other weapons and has yet to show any leadership and a all round game. And ya, I would definatly put Iverson right up there but I still consider him a undersized SG

Bibby is easily in the top 10, I am glad someone at least gave his some love. Hinrich is also climbing the ranks very rapidly. He is a huge aprt of Chicago's success and will continue to be. I personally can't imagine people not giving Terry his due also. He was brought in to Dallas to be a leader and clutch performer after they let Nash bolt. And Dre may not fit the 'potential' part of this list that the original thread was intended, but Dre is still a very good PG.

In no particular order:

Nash
Gil
AI
Bibby
CP3
Billups
Parker
Hinrich
Dre
Kidd

On the bubble:

Terry
TJ
Jameer
Bobcats Duo
Marbury/Francis
Ridnour
Baron
Cassell

Baron could easily bump Dre, Hinrich or an aging Kidd if he didn't get hurt all the time and take 8 3's a game.

TJ is solid....and he'll have a good year. But top 10 pg...in the entire NBA?

The only one I might not put ahead of TJ, actually I probably wouldn't, is Ridnour. Other then that, I agree. Obviously taking into account age, injuries and winning (Marbury), then it changes a bit, you would remove Sam. Baron and Marbury have the talent but nothing to show for it.

And you forgot Dre.
