Damn seriously? Danny Ferry get this man on the phone, sign and trade with Cleveland needs to take place. Good move for Baron after playing 82 games last year, no guarantee that he can do that again next year. He will have teams trying to sign and trade and give him a big deal this summer. My question is what happens in Golden State, ti will be hard to keep him and Monta this summer.
LMAO, what a Moron. He has NO LEVERAGE for any extension with a bone dry market out there, and he just passed on 17 million. Who is his agent?
Check Baron's stats under games played. You see how checking different seasons you see 67, 46, 54, and 63 in the 4 seasons before this year? Thats Baron. He's injury prone. He needs to strike while the iron is hot and he's being looked at as the 3rd or 4th best PG in the league. If nobody else will offer him max trust me Golden State will. And with all the teams out there putting star players on the block expect to see a few sign and trade rumors.
They're not commited to him like the Wizards are commited to Gilbert tho.
He's 30 years old, and is due to go back to his injury prone days once he gets a new deal.
This is a bonehead move, big time. Unless someone steps up to the plate in a sign and trade, he's going loose some bank. No doubt. Because Golden State will lowball. Should've waited till next summer.
First off he's 29, and if you feel he's injury prone isn't it best he takes a little less this year but gets the long term security of a 5 or 6 year deal beore his knee goes out again and nobody wants to risk a long term deal on him? Think about it.

Could happen if they let Maggette go. Is Sterling willing to put all that money out there though?
