Default Are Wade/Melo/Bron still captains next summer...

or do they hand it over to Kobe????? this is a serious question because he was susposed to be captain anyway and would be the leader if on the team.

I just don't understand what kind of person hands the captain to a whole bunch of young guys and expect to win.

I know a lot of people love these young guys, myself included, but I think we can all agree that you can't really hope to win with all these young guys without much experience. Besides Wade, Melo and Bron have only been in like 10 playoff games in three years. As good as they are, eventhough sometimes i think they are way over rated ESPECIALLY bron, they can't be expected to beat the best in the world.

Thats just my take ..

I don't know but I think the real question is does Kobe actually fix whats wrong with this team? I think a healthy Amare and adding another big defensive playing big like KG is what could really help this team turn the corner, along with our players just getting a few years older and learning how to actually win a little better.

I'm sure Kobe will be captain in '08.

KG would fill more holes than Kobe, but i want Kobe there to close out games and for his defense as well.

If they can convince KG, and also get Redd Billups and Kobe we will be fine.

you need a strong defensive PG like Kidd who runs the show and plays inspiring defense to rub off on his teammates.

too bad Kidd will be way past his prime come 08.

and there are no other PGs like him out there.

i guess Kobe is the next best thing for defense rubbingo ff.

The biggest problem for the future US team is that they don't have true point guards and Centers.

the problem is these young guys are from a different mold of PGs. they aren't quite the old school point guards you know?

and center is a problem. besides Dwight Howard, who is a beast but is no Shaq, the US plays small ball and puts power forwards in that slot.

But before the tourney ESPN told me Chris Paul had a better rookie year than Magic Johnson and was the best pure point guard in the league besides nash.
