Kyle Lowry out around 10 days with triceps injuryPosted by Inside Hoops
The Toronto Raptors announced Wednesday the following injury updates:
- Guard Kyle Lowry has a partial tear to his right triceps muscle. He will be treated symptomatically with an estimated return time of 10 days. Lowry sustained the injury at the 11:02 mark of the third quarter Monday at Portland.
- Forward-centre Andrea Bargnani has a ligament tear in his right elbow and a strained right wrist. He will be treated symptomatically and is out indefinitely. Bargnani sustained the injury at the 4:22 mark of the first quarter Monday at Portland.
- Guard-forward Alan Anderson has been working out with the team and is expected to participate in a full practice Thursday with an anticipated return to the active roster for Friday’s game versus Dallas. Anderson sustained a partially torn plantar fascia in his left foot with five seconds remaining in the third quarter of the November 10 game versus Philadelphia.
- Forward-guard Landry Fields will have a second follow-up visit Thursday with surgeon Dr. Andrew Weiland in New York City. Fields continues aggressive conditioning with limited ball handling. Fields underwent ulnar nerve transposition surgery November 14 to address compression/entrapment in his right elbow.
