Desmond Mason out 6-8 weeks after thumb surgery

Milwaukee Bucks forward Desmond Mason had successful surgery this morning to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb, General Manager Larry Harris announced today.

The surgery was performed by Dr. Curt Crimmins, M.D., at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital Ozaukee in Mequon, WI.

Mason is expected to be out of action for six-to-eight weeks.
