The New Orleans Hornets announced today that they have waived guard D.J. Strawberry.
Strawberry (6-5, 205) played in four preseason games for the Hornets, averaging 3.0 points and 1.0 rebounds in 6.8 minutes per game.
The Hornets roster now stands at 16 players.
