Dallas Mavericks forward Caron Butler underwent surgery today to repair a ruptured right patellar tendon. The surgery was performed by team
physician Dr. T.O. Souryal at Texas Sports Medicine. He is expected to miss the remainder of the season.
In 29 games this season, Butler averaged 15.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.6 assists and 29.9 minutes.
