New Orleans Hornets guard Chris Paul has been fined $15,000 for verbal abuse of a game official, it was announced today by Stu Jackson, NBA Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations.
The incident occurred following the Hornets’ 103-101 overtime loss to the New Jersey Nets at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J. on February 9.
