Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut could be a candidate to be dealt before Thursday’s trade deadline.
Bogut’s agent, David Bauman, said Friday there was interest around the league regarding the 7-foot center.
“There’s a lot of teams interested in calling John,” Bauman said of Bucks general manager John Hammond. “I don’t know what they (the Bucks) will end up doing.”
The 27-year-old Bogut is currently out of the lineup after fracturing his left ankle Jan. 25 in Houston. It’s uncertain whether he will be able to play again this season.
“It is a business and everyone is looking to get better; teams are looking to get better,” Bogut said in the locker room before the Bucks played the New York Knicks on Friday. “I can’t control that. I can’t even comment on it, really.
“If it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t.”
