Brandon Jennings may be seriously injured
Here’s Michigan Live reporting on Detroit Pistons point guard Brandon Jennings, who on Saturday suffered what may be a serious injury:

Jennings did not accompany the Pistons to Toronto for tonight’s game, and most likely won’t be playing in any more games this season. Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy acknowledged it didn’t look good. He didn’t have to say much at all. If you saw Kalin Lucas’ change-of-direction injury that shredded his Achilles tendon while he played for Michigan State in the 2010 NCAA tournament, you essentially saw the same non-contact action on which Jennings was hurt against the Bucks.
The Pistons said only that Jennings would return to Detroit today for further examination. That unrushed approach would be consistent with an Achilles injury, which often requires that surgery be delayed several days until initial swelling subsides.
Whatever the injury, if Jennings is out for an extended period, as appears to be the case, it is a crushing blow.
