Miami Heat guard Dion Waiters underwent surgery yesterday to fix instability in his left ankle. The Heat say that a preexisting navicular bone fracture was also repaired.
Waiters is done for the season.
Waiters this year played in 30 games, as a starter in all 30 games, averaging 14.3 points, 3.8 assists and 2.6 rebounds in 30.6 minutes per outing.
