The Sacramento Kings today requested waivers on guard Luther Head, according to Kings President of Basketball Operations Geoff Petrie.
Head, in his sixth NBA season out of Illinois, appeared in 36 games (started 14) for the Kings this season and posted averages of 5.6 ppg (.415 FG%, .391 3PT, .780 FT%), 1.7 rpg, and 1.9 apg in 16.3 mpg.
