Kings forward Carl Landry out for season after knee surgery

The Sacramento Kings announced today that power forward Carl Landry underwent successful arthroscopic right knee surgery performed by Dr. David Altchek at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.

Landry is expected to make a full recovery and be ready for the 2014-15 NBA campaign.

He played in just 18 games for the Kings this season, averaging 4.2 points in 12.9 minutes per game.

The Kings have a 24-44 record this season, which is the 7th worst record in the NBA.
