Mavericks waive Jamal Sampson

The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they have requested waivers on F/C Jamal Sampson. Sampson (6-11/235) appeared in three preseason games and averaged 1.3 points, 1.3 rebounds and 3.7 minutes before spraining his left ankle. He signed as a free agent on October 1. The Mavericks roster now stands at 17 players.
