Knicks waive Dan Dickau
Oct 2nd, 2007 by Inside Hoops
New York Knickerbockers President of Basketball Operations and Head Coach Isiah Thomas announced today that guard Dan Dickau has been waived. Dickau was acquired on Jun. 28, 2007 along with Zach Randolph and Fred Jones, in exchange for Steve Francis and Channing Frye.
Dickau, 6-0, 180-pounds, averaged 3.3 points and 1.4 assists in 50 games for Portland last season. A five-year NBA veteran, the Portland, OR native has averaged 6.0 points and 2.5 assists in 233 career games for six NBA teams.
I think that Isiah Thomas is racist. He waives one of two white guys on the team. He kept Lee on the bench and continued to start Frye even though Lee was much better. Dickau is much better than Jones and Jones will most likely make the team.
