Wiggins to Class of 2013
Wiggins moving to No. 1 in 2013 means senior small forward Jabari Parker of Chicago Simeon moves to the No. 2 slot. Parker, a three-time Illinois state champion and two-time USA Basketball gold medalist, is one of the strongest No. 2 overall players ever in the ESPN 100.

Wiggins, an athletic specimen whose father played at Florida State, is strongly considering the Seminoles and Kentucky. North Carolina coach Roy Williams visited his school this week, and Ohio State and Kansas are expected to be at Huntington Prep this week.

Wiggins, who is a month older than Parker, had been contemplating this move since the summer. By coming back into his original class, Wiggins is now eligible for the McDonald's All-American game next March and any other postseason all-star events.

Things just got real.

Re: Wiggins to Class of 2013
I'm calling it now: Wiggins will end up at FSU.

UNC will probably have a crowded team at his position and I just don't think he's that interested in the school. Wake me up if he ever sets an official visit. No, wake me up if he goes on his visit. Setting it up isn't enough.

Feel the same about Kansas.

So that leaves the top two that's always been there: FSU and UK.

Kentucky is a crowded team and I swear he doesn't want to play with the Harrison twins. Wiggins' AAU team was in Kentucky the other day and Cal didn't even care to show up. He either knows Wiggins is his, is extraordinarily arrogant, or knows his chances have faded. I'm betting on the latter right now.

That leaves FSU. Family went there and his closeness with the coaching staff... Really, though, they're the only school left (of the two who actually had a chance).

There was a major AAU tournament in Kentucky?

The Marshall County Hoopfest.

Wiggins, Harrison twins, Nick King, Sindarius Thornwell, Cliff Alexander, the Oak Hill team, etc.

Wiggins took home the MVP.

In related news, Wiggins is apparently taking his official visit to FSU tomorrow. I'm not sure he has any other OV's scheduled to this point. Could be wrong on that.

Karl Towns probably announcing for UK tomorrow. I haven't seen a ton of him but he's got an odd (and very good) game, hard to peg.

Re: Wiggins to Class of 2013
His athleticism is improving at a ridiculous pace. A lot of times with those kids that are really athletic at a young age, it's because they peeked early.

He seems to just keep growing though. On almost all of his open dunks, his head is legit rim level. He may actually be as athletic as high school LeBron by the end of his senior year.
