Re: 2021 Western Conference Round 2: (1) Utah Jazz vs. (4) L.A. Clippers
Utah taking stupid ass shots and making them. Clarkson made a 3 pointer off the backboard,in clutch time ingles shot a floater that nearly went over the backboard and bounced in anyway.

"Based on the quality of possessions, the Clips were expected to win game 2 by 7, and win 74% of the time based on historic ShotQuality data"
In game 2, the Jazz Were Expected to Score 12 Less Points on Three Pointers"
Lucky as shit pretty much. But we have seen this before with kawhi and ty lue, they just end up back door sweeping you.
Difference is Jazz can play a lot better though, unlike the Mavs were a predictable 1-ballhog running machine. You talk about possessions and quality of them, but this also happens when your starting PG, 1/3 stars of the team is missing. Mitchell is a monster scorer but a terrible playmaker. If Conley comes back game 4 and is 80% back to his old self, those possessions will likely be much better. Jazz can pass the ball a lot better as a team as long as that dumbass Clarkson plays as few minutes as possible. And again unlike the Mavs, the Jazz can also play much better defense than them. In the RS, Utah was 3rd while Dallas was 17th.

Question is when does Conley come back (if he comes back this series) and if he does, at what level will he be? Conley and RJ are the x-factors of this entire series.
Re: 2021 Western Conference Round 2: (1) Utah Jazz vs. (4) L.A. Clippers
Same as mavs series. Mavs were actually road warriors though and Utah sucks on the road. All clippers got to do is steal game 5 and the series is over in 6.
Over .500 on the road doesn't suck

Clarkson will play less if Conley plays but it will still be too much
Re: 2021 Western Conference Round 2: (1) Utah Jazz vs. (4) L.A. Clippers
Clippers should win Game 4 going away.. Conley hurt, Mitchell hurt, the Jazz have no one to guard Kawhi or PG and they struggle getting any looks in the paint (outside of Mitchell) against the Clippers' defense.
Mike Conley (right hamstring) has been ruled out for Game 4 vs. the Clippers on Monday
Mike is ducking papa Kawhi. Probably still has nightmares of the 2017 1st round matchup.
Or does Mike just hate playing with a ballhog like Mitchell? they seem to take turns getting injured like Irving\harden does. Remember Conley also refused to pass the ball to Mitchell on the last shot of game 7 last year and shot it himself, while mitchell looked frustrated. Mitchell seems like a guy who is always having temper tantrums for no reason as well.

Mavs specifically play better on the road. While Jazz main thing is their homecourt advantage. That was a trend all season i thought and has been that way in playoffs as well.

The idea that a player is not playing for any of the stupid reasons you stated when Jazz have a solid shot to win the title year shows what a garbage-tier poster you really are. :facepalm

traditional point guards like mike conley don't like to play with exaggerated, high usage guards like mitchell.
chris paul had the same issues with james harden.
39% usage for mitchell this year. Conley probably looking at him like same old shit. Mitchell had a 37.5 usage last year playoffs as well.

Conley had a good shot with time running out and is the better shooter. Only an idiot like Clarkson would pass there

Mavs were 3-1 on the road in playoffs.
Utah comes out on the road vs clippers and allows a 142 offensive rating.
That should tell you right there. Utah will not win a game on the road this series.

Nothing about what you said changes my statement. Mitchell holds the ball way too much for an SG, but Conley isn't going to not bother playing in a tournament to win the championship for something that petty. He's had 2 groin injuries this season, both have taken him longer than he's currently been out for. The issue is Conley is injury-prone and breaks down way too much during this time of the year.

All season mavs were better on road then they were at home.

It's 1 game but it was the most embarrassing game ever. Allowing a 120 offensive rating is even weak, you went out and let clippers have a god damn 142 offensive rating which is nuts
