Yeah, but it's not like Jordan lived on the perimeter. He didn't shoot many 3s and he had the best post game from a guard ever.
However, I will say that the current generation of players grew up wanting to be like Mike. The majority at least. So when they start hooping at a young age (before they realize their natural position), they all want to be that 6-6 SG. It doesn't help their development. Not for PGs who end up more like combos, nor for bigs who end up roaming too much on the perimeter and working on their handle and jumpshot rather than post moves.
