CONGRATS, LUTON TOWN!!
They are promoted to Premier League next season. It has been an amazing ride when you consider Luton was in non-league at the beginning of the 2010's.
The problem for them now is that their home stadium, Kenilworth Road, is not up to EPL standard and in need of major renovation or have to build a new stadium, which they have planned to but not started yet. They may loan another stadium for a year or two though.

Inter Miami has parted ways, aka fired, Phil Neville.
Without more rumors of bringing in Messi for real this time, I guess Beckham and Inter Miami will find a manager than Messi would love to play with.

No one cares though. They're such a sham team. Dodgy accounting practices and cheating to the highest degree.

Disappointing that a guy who is still arguably the best player in the world joins a minor league. He still has 2-3 more years at a high level.
But hey at least it's not Saudi Arabia.. And he might break some records in the MLS.

Re: Soccer Discussion Thread
He is still the best. Haaland and Mbappe are up there but he impacts the game in more ways than them. I'm pretty certain there is a loan somewhere in the next 2-3 years and he is going back to Barca.. Henry, Beckham, Ibra.. they all went back to Europe after signing for an MLS team. I'm sure they will allow it.

Re: Soccer Discussion Thread
It looks like Messi gets a similar deal to Beckham with a clause of allowing him to own stakes of an MLS team once he retires.

He is arguably the best. Still a monstrous combination of scoring and playmaking.

The image above is just for club football and he won and dominated the World Cup. In terms of club + international he's somewhat close to Mbappe and Haaland in goals and just blows them away in assists.
Of course he's not in his prime and he's not lapping the field anymore but it's easy to make a case for Messi as still the best.

Iniesta is leaving Japan and now Inter Miami and a Saudi team are trying to get him. Messi-Busquets-Iniesta reunion in MLS?
