Michael Jordan is new part owner of Bobcats
Robert L. Johnson, founder of BET and majority owner of the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats, announced today that he will enter into a venture with Michael Jordan to invest in business opportunities in media, entertainment and financial services.

As part of Jordan’s investment in Johnson’s existing portfolio, Jordan will become the largest individual owner of the Bobcats after Johnson. Jordan will become the Managing Member of Basketball Operations for the Bobcats ownership group.

Only if Bobcats took Gerald Green. Gerald Green being taught by Jordan how to play ball  Lol its a dumb idea but good to see Jordan back in Nba.

StraightHustlinInTDOT 06-15-2006 07:08 PM

It doesn't work that way, kids. You can't just have MJ teach some kid how to play ball and expect them to turn out to be some All NBA player. You just can't teach someone the instincts and ball sense of a legend like Jordan.

ISH is the ish.

IGGYIVERSON 06-15-2006 07:09 PM

the problem with Jordan is that he expects every single player to have the same talent, work ethic, and killer instinct as he did. its not really a bad thing i guess when you look at it from his point of view but its a flaw when he tries to run a team.

glad hes back in the NBA tho.

Welcome back to NC, Michael.

Don't screw up the team.

Looks like I'll be buying a whole **** load of Bobcat merchandise. I like Okafor, his jersey is a start. Gerald Wallace is fairly underrated. I'll get his too.

I wish Jordan was part of the Bulls in some way.
