Praise Haslem

Dude played like a fighter tonight and came up with all the big rebounds and shots you can ask for, without him tonight playing well Heat would of lost by 10+

Big_D_62 06-21-2006 03:52 AM

finally sumbody shows him sum credit

Chamberlain 06-21-2006 03:57 AM

He played a much larger role than his stats would indicate. He was matched up against Dirk a lot and really bothered him at times. He didn't absolutely shut him down, but nobody can. He did exactly what was asked of him.

Can you believe they called that travel on him after he got that rebound off Wade's missed free throw? The refs sicken me.

That being said, he stepped up huge tonight. Haslem defines what a good role player should be. He is now a champion, and rightfully so.

Well deserved praise for Haslem for his 17 and 10 night :applause:

ALL OF DADE COUNTY IS STANDING UP FOR THE U-DOMINATOR...

He's the unsung hero. Hit some big buckets, had some key boards.

UD = Champion.

You gotta love it.

15 strong

I said he would be big for Miami before the series started because of his defense and hustle.Tonight he finally got his jumper going that he usually hits and was doing damage. That last rebound he got for the putback was huge.

props to Haslem.:pimp:

dude played like he knew he was playing in the finals. he understood the impact of the game. if you have anything, you leave it on the court. a lot of the heat players did that. they certainly didn't have the youth to match dallas, but they beat them by wanting it more. haslem deserves credit because played like he wanted it. same with zo.

Yup, Udonis played with terrific determination and had a number of major plays.

He is what a role player should be on a championship caliber team. He knows his role, doesn't try to score on his own, plays good D, goes for offensive rebounds, can confidently take and make the mid-range shot, and can do all of the above in clutch situations. THAT is what a role player should be. Guys like Haslem, Robert Horry, Derek Fisher, Devean George, Bruce Bowen, those are true role players in the league and are so crucial to a championship team.

JohnnySic 06-21-2006 09:10 AM

Praise to Haslem and also to Miami's other gritty players such as Posey and Zo. :pimp:
