Players with the heart of a champion
I don't know about y'all but it is refreshing to watch players who dive all over the court and lay 100% of what they got every time they hit the court. These guys I'm about to name want the ball when the game is on the line and they play the game to win. Here are my players with the heart of a champion.

Randy Foye
Mike Gansey
Adam Morrison
Allen Ray
Tyrus Thomas
Kyle Lowry
Sergio Rodriguez
Gerry McNamara
Leon Powe

Tell me what y'all think or if you have any others.

Darius Washington

Ya, I forgot him and I felt so bad for him after he missed that free throw in the tournament his freshman year. He was crying on the free throw line after they lossed.

The REAL Next KNICK 06-27-2006 11:48 AM

yeah i sucked because i know him and taurean green and we all played on the same aau team, but joakim noah has more heart then everyone on that list

dwillreg 06-27-2006 11:50 AM

Ya I know, but he isn't in this draft class.

I think Randy Foye has a huge heart cause he would have to play D on PF's in Nova's 4 guard set. He got the job done at 6'4'' though.

Ms. Mock
Being a Gonzaga fan I have watched Morrison for his college career and I can say the guy has guts, he plays to win always.

Gansey- I've watched him ever since his freshman year at St. Bonaventure; the kid leaves everything on the floor. I see the same in Foye, Lowry, and Morrison. Hopefully they will inject a little of their spirit into the often hum-drum NBA.

The two guys with the most heart in this draft are easily Mike Gansey and Adam Morrison..

Gansey has absolutely no concern of his body and almost scared the crap out of John Beilein every time he drove the lane..If he has a 1% chance of getting a loose ball you better believe he will be hitting the deck..I think the NBA has plenty of room for guys like that..

As for Morrison, nobody would cry their eyes out on the middle of the court on national tv unless they had an absolute passion for the game..Those two definately have the most heart.

i know i was just sayin noah has a lot of the draft class, d-wash or mcnamera

I bet with Foye's toghness and game he gets to the line 10-15 times a game in the NBA over his career. If he improves his outside shot we could be looking at the best player out of this draft.

Yea I think 5 years from now when we look at this draft we will say the best players were Randy Foye, Marcus williams, and Rudy Gay..

I say Shannon Brown, he will bring energy an athelicism , he lays it all out on the floor. Very nice player.

I agree completely. I would add Bargnani to that list. I say that Rudy Gay, Andrea Bargnani, and Foye will be in a level of their own as far of talent in 5 years compared to the rest of the class. I think Shelden Williams, JJ Redick, Adam Morrison and Brandon Roy will be in the class right below. I don't know what to make of Thomas, Aldridge, or O'Bryant. I could easily seeing each of them being busts or each of them being in Foye, Gay and Bargnanis class.

dwillreg 06-28-2006 12:18 AM

Add Marcus Williams to the class right below Gay.
