Trading for Sefolosha
 

Why did the we have the 76ers take Thabo instead of Ronnie Brewer. Brewer is one of the best defenders in the draft, and Paxson was all high on him before his stock rose and we knew he wouldn't last till 16. Did we make the right decision? Your thoughts....

Sefolosha is longer, just as athletic and a better defensive player than Brewer. He has also played against men instead of college players, so his adjustment to the league shouldn't be as steep.

Do you think he'll eventually start over Ben Gordon?

No. Gordon will become the superstar on this team, as much as Hinrich deserves it. Next year, I think he will become the primary scorer, and finally figure out how to play the game when he doesn't come off the bench. Sefolosha should provide ample minutes subbing for Hinrich and Gordon, and possibly at the 3 in smaller lineups w/o Deng or Nocioni. The thing I like about this is that we can rest our guys a lot more with the 4 guard rotation.

He'll be great backing up the likes of Deng/Nocioni/Gordon.
