and trading JR does make a lot of sense. they are stacked at the wings, and they don't need to take any risk with his attitude.

I've been hearing about this for a while now. Not a surprise. Flip played well for the Cavs in LH's place last season. Nice pickup for the Pistons.

Yea I'm suprised that Flip would sign for only the LLE and accept a bench role. I thought he'd take one or the other. I liked Flip a lot with the Sonics. He adds some serious scoring to the bench.

Good deal for the Pistons. Working on that bench finally. Flip and Nazr are good signings by Joe Dumars that why hes one of the best. Basically he has traded Ben for Nazr and Flip....Not to bad of a deal if you ask me. Also does anyone know the status of Dale Davis? Is he plan on staying with the Pistons, I mean the mins are there now and they need a backup center. I think he would provide a solid 10-15 mins for them.

I would absolutely love the idea of JR Smith in Denver, he'd start and get atleast 30mpg, he'd show them he's a star. I'm also surprised that is all Flip is getting. Any word on what the Smith deal would be like?

Flip's a very nice player off the bench for them. If Dumars can continue to make moves like adding Nazr and Flip, the Pistons could easily contend again.

1.7.. for Flip Murray.. doesn't seem right. Someone wouldn't offer him half of the MLE for two years?

Also, I'm sure it's a CBA violation to have both Flip Murray and Flip Saunders.

It's odd that he took a small contract and a bench role. Didn't Bobby Jackson get the full MLE? Flip should've gotten atleast half of it at worst.
