The Spurs should have brought Robinson back. He'd have been better than rasho

Robinson was unstoppable that year. 3 Triple doubles in the Same month with OVER 10 BLOCKS EACH GAME?! Simply incredible.

Imagine the Spurs now with Robinson at center, instead of horry/rasho/nazr in and out of the spot

sure robinson got owned that year but he got his in the end....what about the rockets dropping hakeem like a sack of dirt and sent him packing to toronto...alteast the spurs organization recognized davids accomplishments, what he ment to the city, and retired him a spur.

Did the trade happen officially or what

your rockets franchise gave him the finger and sent him packing

Houston began to rebuild, bringing in young guards Cuttino Mobley and Steve Francis, the 2000 Co-Rookie of the Year. On August 8, 2001, Hakeem was traded to the Toronto Raptors for draft picks (the highest of which was used by Houston to draft Bostjan Nachbar at #15 in the 2002 NBA Draft), where he would play his final NBA season, averaging career lows of 7.1 points and 6.0 rebounds per game before retiring.

 the dream for bostjan freakin nachbar! what a class organization.
