Jordan has nothing to do with this thread. Neither does the 06 series against the Suns (he didn't quit anyway).
This was a great thread for about a page and a half. No other players were even mentioned. It was just a good discussion about the series.

That's what I said. Jordan has had more impressive series here. But geez. Jordan fans don't need to come in with the history lesson.
Dwyane Wade was mentioned too.

What was the Defense rating and ranking of those Suns? Just curious, since its always used against retired Players' competition.

I know I'm responsible for some trolling in the past
It was always in good fun though. It's pretty easy to know when I'm just dicking around. Some people don't get it though.

If you read my post from earlier, the rating can go to the trash can. I used my eyes to see how the defense was being played. They actually pretty damn good for the most part.
Hill played Kobe solid. So did Dudley. J-Rich was overmatched really. The help was there or Kobe split them. Kobe' s 3 point shot in this series was bang on.
If other use the ratings for the older players than your trolled, man. Ignore them and move on. If you saw how good those defenses back then, that's all that should matter to you. Not some troll.
Anything to say about Kobe's performance ?

Even as a Suns fan, I have to give it up to Kobe for his performance in that series. The Suns played Kobe as well as they ever had and dude was still hitting tough shot after tough shot. It was incredibly frustrating to watch.

Above average for someone like him. Not on the level of legendary performances.

I remember that game six. It was unbelievable. I feel like that series went under the radar for some reason though. Zach Randolph did the same thing to the Spurs last year.

23rd overall, although from the All-Star Game to the end of the season, the Suns were 12th in defensive efficiency in the league.
