Ride the Lightning has Escape, which is one of the worst Metallica songs of all time. Really great album though. Fight Fire with Fire, title track, Bells, Fade, Creeping Death, and Ktulu are all amazing songs though, so it is an all time great metal album imo, just not as consistent as MOP and Justice.
Appetite is rock solid throughout, but there's only a few songs that completely blow me away. There are no bad songs on the album though, which is impressive.

Eh I don't listen to Metallica after Burton really. Only have one song on my ipod after his death (enter sandman). Should probably get justice but IDK
