They're my favorite team, but Howard had no reason to re-sign with the Lakers. Last season was a fiasco and D'antoni is still there.

IMO him and his agent know that whatever goes on in these meetings will be leaked out, so they are trying to go poker faced and probably ask the exact same questions of all the teams, rather than asking team-specific questions and risking the media figuring out where he might go. Sounds exactly like what happened in the Houston meeting tbh, asking lots and lots about winning.

Cause they won so much last year with all those losing streaks. They can downplay the beef with playful pictures all they want but everyone knows who Kobe and their fans blamed (other than crying injuries).
