In today's NBA
James F*cking Harden is the best SG while Old ass(one knee having ass) Dwayne Wade is the 2nd Best...
I can't even name a center other Dwight, no center's average 20 & 10.
The so called best Player is a conniving snake who jumps ship when they're down.
A role playing nicca with braids won the FMVP over the so called best player.
This era isn't real, believe NOTHING...

Hard to argue with really. I notice nobody is even trying to.

Demarcus Cousins averaged 23 and 12.
Kawhi won the fmvp because of the media. Duncan and Parker were both more valuable to SA.
You can't name Joakim Noah, Marc Gasol, Demarcus Cousins or Andre Drummond? Start watching more games of other teams.
LeBron's personality/character has nothing to do with his basketball ability. He is one of the greatest players the world has ever seen.

Re: In today's NBA
It is interesting that if you look at the third best player in today's game, it's either perennial underachiever chris paul, russell westbrook (my choice) or young anthony davis.
That's a pretty darn weak #3 compared to any previous era you want to choose.
And a top 10 list also looks pretty weak compared to previous eras.

Re: In today's NBA
What is this era? the 2000's-2010's? because that has like kobe, duncan, garnett, dirk, nash, kid, etc
Or 2010-2014? because its only been half of a decade so far...

Completely the opposite.. total recency bias..
Here are the best starting SF's in 2014 and 1990 (min 15.0 PER):
Kevin Durant.................... Larry Bird*
Paul George..................... Dominique Wilkins*
Kawhi Leonard................. James Worthy*
Nicholas Batum................ Scottie Pippen*
Gordon Hayward.............. Chris Mullin*
Rudy Gay........................ Bernard King*
Trevor Ariza..................... Alex English*
Andre Iguodala................. Adrian Dantley*
JR Smith.......................... Paul Pressey or Derrick McKey
Luol Deng........................ Reggie Lewis
Josh Smith....................... Orlando Woolridge
Chandler Parsons.............. Mark Aguirre
Shawn Marion.................. Jerome Kersey
Couldn't find anywhere for Xavier McDaniel and "Rifleman" Chuck Person (36.2% career from 3).
1990 destroys by epic proportions here - the top 8 SF's listed are all HOF (*)

Who is your pick for number 2 and 3 during the 90's?

David Robinson

....could all vie for 3rd place in any given year of the 90's... and they're all far better than the options for third best today.
Also, athletic wing players are generally rated much higher today than they were back then because today's game values athletic wings over post-bigs, and today's game doesn't have the type of all-time bigs mentioned earlier that dominated the top rankings every year.
So athletic, do-it-all wings like Penny Hardaway, Grant Hill, Scottie Pippen and Clyde Drexler would be the 3rd to 5th best players in today's game, but back then were ranked no higher than 7th and as low as 15ish..
Alonzo Mourning, Chris Webber, and Shawn Kemp would also be ranked in the 3rd to 5th range today.
